PASMA Certificate and Card

The PASMA Certificate and Card are recognised proof of competence for workers who use mobile access towers and scaffold towers across the UK construction industry. Issued after successfully completing PASMA-approved training, the qualification demonstrates that an individual understands safe tower assembly, inspection procedures, movement, dismantling, and working-at-height safety practices.

A PASMA Card provides employers with evidence that a worker has received the correct training to work safely with mobile access equipment. The card shows the holder’s training level and categories completed, helping employers confirm whether a worker is qualified for specific tower types and tasks.

PASMA qualifications are widely used by construction workers, maintenance teams, electricians, engineers, contractors, and facilities management professionals who need to demonstrate competence when working with access towers. Depending on the course completed, PASMA categories can include Towers for Users, Low Level Access, Towers on Stairways, Towers with Cantilevers, Linked Towers, and other specialist tower training areas.

After completing the required training and assessment, successful candidates receive their PASMA certification details and can access their PASMA card digitally through the TowerSure system. Physical cards may also be requested through the training centre. Employers can verify PASMA credentials using the official PASMA card verification system.
